Central Eschweiler Galeriehotel

Let's start with the positive points: the location is great. The rooms are not too expensive either....Then the negative sides: the personel isn't nice. The manager was actually rude when my friend asked for an extra blanket! The rooms are old and not so clean. We were lucky as we booked a flat kind of room (2 bedrooms + bathroom) which was comfy enough. The internet wasn't always working but having Sky cable Tv was nice. Breakfast was a buffet and the food was ok, with jam/nutella or cheese/ham, rolls or toasted bread. The hotel is quiet but needs renovation! I'd give it only 2 stars...

We slept well. They had a nice breakfast included in the room rate. Staff was very friendly and helpful. However, the bathroom of apartment 18/19 needs immediate refurbishing. Period. Flushing doesn't work properly, and the bathtub/shower is a disgrace. Poor wifi in the room, otherwise ok. We will not book this place again. Every youth hostel has a better shower than this.

We stayed two nights in this hotel. We only stayed 2 nights because we couldn't find anywhere else to stay. Do not stay in this hotel. Dirty, rude staff, worn out and stained carpets, The place needs a complete refurbishment.
