Hotel Villa Esplanade

Small, but has everything you need. Staff was polite, room was very clean. I would come back and i would suggest to a friend. Keep in mind that there is a bar in the basement of the same building, so it can be noisy, but that did not bother me at all.

A converted grand old house that is conveniently located a short stroll from the centre of town. I was in a ground floor room for ease of access and had a peaceful stay despite being on the road. The staff are friendly and extremely helpful and gave me advice on where to find shops, gave me a kettle for the room and printed an email for me. The rooms have high ceilings and opening windows and are spotlessly clean. Bathroom was modern and practical. Breakfast is just what’s needed. There is also a great Irish bar in the basement here so one can enjoy some craic and fall into bed.

We stayed overnight with our little schnauzer and had the most enjoyable experience. The hotel is very central which is located on a beautiful street. The staff were friendly and helpful, the rooms were beautiful and clean and the breakfast was delicious. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We will be definitely returning in spring for another great experience and to see the cherry blossoms of Bonn.
