Maritim Hotel Schnitterhof

This time, one floor lower down (with lift access). This time we had half board in the "Great Hall" (a little impersonal, in my opinion). The chef was not having his best day, but the hotel itself was just as excellent as last time: the grounds are very well maintained, the room was spotlessly clean, and the shower had a non-slip floor and a grab rail. The breakfast buffet was lavish. Note: No towels are provided in the wellness area. You can request a preferred table for half board, although this cannot be guaranteed.

We had a wonderful stay at the Hotel Schnitterhof and felt completely comfortable from the first to the last minute. The hotel is truly outstanding! We were particularly impressed by the **first-class breakfast**, which leaves nothing to be desired. The **pool area is simply outstanding, very well-maintained and absolutely clean** – perfect for relaxing. The **staff is top-notch**, always friendly and attentive. Our **room was also outstanding, clean and very cozy**. Overall, an all-around successful stay at a great hotel. We felt really comfortable and would **love to come back**! Absolute recommendation! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

We had booked for a Comfort room because we wanted a terrace / balcony to the room to sit outside. Please note when booking that you specifically request a balcony/terrace room. Some Comfort rooms have a 'French balcony' as they describe it on their website. This sounds nice but is really much less comfort. You will then get a room as shown in the attached photo and is a big difference with the terrace / balcony rooms. They are spacious and have garden furniture and parasol. You pay the same price for the French balcony room and you get less comfort. Breakfast and pool is good.
