We needed 6 rooms at short notice as there were problems with the booked hotel. Already at check in we were treated friendly and helpful, this was the case throughout the stay by all the staff. The hotel is very clean. Breakfast provided everything we needed. If there is a very large crowd, there are problems with the dishes. The hotel is very convenient, you can walk to so much. The room was too warm for me, but I could regulate it by ventilation. It doesn't have to be perfect, I have to feel comfortable, and I did.

We had two spacious double rooms to the courtyard/garden, these were very quiet for the city center location. The rooms were cleaned daily, including on Sundays. The rooms had a mini kitchen with microwave where you could have cooked a meal. An electric kettle and capsule coffee machine, with a small selection of coffee and tea, are also included. Breakfast was OK, various selection of cut cheeses and poultry sausages, plus scrambled eggs, jams and cereals. This selection will be tight for vegans, leaving fruit, fresh vegetables and cereals with vegan milk or yogurt. The selection of bread and rolls was good.

We stayed over New Year's Eve n Bochum...Starlight Express and Disco Prater to New Year's Eve. And the mining museum was a highlight.
