The welcome by the hotel manager was..... We thought it was the hotel craftsman in terms of clothes. The arrival was more than hypothermic! The room was COLD, less than 14 degrees. After two days we had a proud 18 degrees in the room, as there were also no bed mats or carpets this was also very "conducive in the ground floor" from the visual and floor feeling. The tiles in the bathroom were also more pleasant only on the third day, so we only used the shower there (because of the temperature) Also only Daily towels were changed and trash cans emptied but neither sink nor toilet cleaned. We were there five days (including arrival and departure). Beds were also not made!! not to mention the cobweb over our bed. To eat must be from the house around the corner to another building, not nice in winter. Food was acceptable but not overwhelming. Service staff are friendly and accommodating. Drinks are written on lids and paid before departure, you have no price overview, not nice.

I can't write anything positive! About Jochen Schweizer spontaneously started a request - that I do not receive an answer immediately is perfectly fine - BUT - if you get a confirmation by phone and are forced to pay on site because the office is not working and the voucher request cannot be accepted is not acceptable! Apparently the staff needs training! As it stands (you can read in the reviews below) the guests who have a voucher are not wanted! But I'm glad I didn't stay at the hotel. The pictures in the comments (Google) are frightening!

During our trip to France we had car trouble. That's how we ended up with our family (2 adults, 2 children) in Bonn and eventually at the Zur Post hotel. No one was present upon arrival, but by calling the telephone number that was taped to the door, someone arrived quite quickly. We received a very friendly welcome and were able to book a very nice and large family room. It ended up being two nights, because it took a little longer before we could get replacement transportation. We were able to continue using our room on the last day without having to pay extra. (Check-out time 11 a.m., ultimately leaving the room at 4 p.m.) Very nice that we were looked after so well. Top service and very happy with this location after the car breakdown.
