Schloss Bensberg is something very special in Germany. It is beautiful, the food is excellent, and the service is always very attentive. We were there for a weekend at the beginning of March and had a lovely time. A few small drawbacks: It was very crowded during check-in and check-out (only one employee at the reception), and a line formed for breakfast in the morning. However, that was all quickly resolved by a 2nd. breakfast room. The hotel breakfast is fantastic, by the way. The wellness area was also unfortunately extremely crowded; there was by far not enough space to relax, all the loungers by the pool were occupied, and the quiet rooms were full. It is probably better during the week.

Were four days in Germany; father-son-get-out-of-it. We were surprised. And it was, too. The location (a castle), the service (neat), the room (a suite). All just a little more. For example, the hotel car is not a Smart, but a classic Rolls Royce. And for the test, how clean are the toilets by the pool/in the hall the hotel passed with flying colors. The breakfast was extensive and international in character. Germany came back in our opinion in many types of tea and the quality (good / organic). We would have liked to taste even more regional products. You're crossing the border. Also in terms of taste.
