So the room is OK but overpriced, there are 2 bars / karaoke / nightclub / vice dens either side of the hotel, in one of them the aggressive doorman has a huge boom box at his feet in open air just outside the door playing full blast 24/7, he is possibly deaf but most definitely stupid. Both bars play music until at least 2 a.m., so you will not be able to sleep. I approached the staff expecting them to get involved and look after their guests by getting the music switched off so we can sleep... no such luck, just pathetic excuses and not much care. Their focus is on room rate only. They also told us the bars are new, but these sort of noise issues go back nearly 3 years, so they lied. So if you want to relax and get a good night's sleep, do not book this hotel.

Stayed in this hotel for 3 nights and it was excellent. The staff at reception were very helpful and friendly. The room have a huge comfortable bed and the bathroom was very well decorated with a great big shower. The hotel is close to all amenities, the Rhine, the Cathedral and all the bars and restaurants. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

When you enter the hotel, it gives the impression that it will be quite simple and ordinary, as you receive it in small and outdated decoration. The elevator and hallways are also somewhat deteriorated and need renovation. But when you enter the room things change and surprise. It is very spacious and with many details. Capsule coffee maker, minibar, multiple plugs, large wardrobe, safe, good lighting. Very comfortable beds and viscoelastic pillows. Spacious bathroom, with large shower and everything clean. It has like a little living room with a sofa. Very good location as it is just 5 min walk from the Cathedral and the train station. The historic center is very close and you can visit everything on foot. The staff is very nice and attentive. Highly recommended
