Ibis Cologne Airport Hotel

I use Ibis often but this one is the most sloppily run Ibis Styles. Staff with attitude where guests are an inconvenience to their social lives rather than a means to an end. They appear to work to no purpose. First room wasn’t good but bearable ( which I had to clean myself) . Maintenance paperwork left on the bed and a light in peices on my return ended in a change of room which I had to work for.Staff appear to have no motivation or guidance who are happy to swear at guests in various languages when they think you don’t understand or hear. E17 for a breakfast which was expensive but ok but you appear to have to do your own housekeeping and cope with lukewarm showers and aircon mysteriously turned off over a very hot week end? Morning staff better than the evening except for checkout. Better alternatives nearby

Bad service with vague information and poor education. Doubtful cleaning, towel in chao, bathroom ..etc Noise by the dawn outside, I do not recommend going back. It was the worst choice of these holidays.

Didn’t even check in!! The hotel had sofas thrown out the front and unsavoury people walking around in bare feet and being leery and trying to touch me. Love holidays did nothing for us and we found ourselves homeless on holiday. The man on the front desk is rude and nasty! Love holidays did nothing told us we had no choice but to check into a hotel I was attempted to be touched inappropriately! Disgusting doesn’t cover it!
