Novum Hotel Leonet Koln Altstadt

Not recommended! You think you're in the '80s. Lift is partly broken, intermediate doors are loose and windows in the doors are damaged. Beds were okay, rooms and especially bathroom is small. No air conditioning in the room so make sure you are in your room as late as possible at high temperature. At the front a lot of nuisance in the night of racing cars and drunk passers-by. Breakfast is basic but okay. Parking is possible but is very limited, better parking in Parkhaus Lungengasse a 5-minute walk away. You are within walking distance of the "Belgisches Viertel": cozy neighborhood with nice restaurants and bars.

The hotel is outdated and feels depressed and claustrophobic. Lots of stairs, narrow corridors and low ceilings. The breakfast room also felt crammed. The rooms have no air conditioning and the fan that was there was faulty and could not be replaced/repaired either. Room was clean but very outdated. Bathroom also very small and no room for a toiletry bag. Breakfast was fine, all the basic ingredients were there, but glasses for juice were constantly on. In terms of location also quite a walk from the center and in the vicinity little to no restaurants / shops.

No cleaning smells like smoke. No air conditioning even though they say it exists. There is no parking either.
