Firstly, this hotel seems to have several names? We had to move rooms twice on the first night. The first because we were given a single room instead of a double. The second because when we returned at around 12am, a family was sat outside our rooms which was meant to be theirs but after the swap, the member of staff had not changed their info. We were then made to repack all our things after a long day and move to another room. Not sure why the family couldnt go into the room we were then given considering it was the exact same room. For a first day and experience, I’d be unwilling to return. The rooms are dated or look cheap with some 70s-esque decor. Scaffolding was outside the windows with no prior warning to this. The first man at the desk at check in said he was new so im not one to complain about new staff, working in hospitality myself. The second man, when we returned in the evening, made us feel like it was our fault that there was issue with the rooms. To make matters worse, we were awoke at 05:30 by somebody pounding on a neighbouring door and shouting. The curtains were paper thin and let sunlight in easily, so make sure you take an eye mask unless you want to be up at the crack of dawn. Yes it’s cheap but I would personally avoid. Pay the extra for a nicer budget hotel.

Very budget hotel. Cheapest bed with cheapest pillows and covers. Bathroom and general room was clean. Both male desk people were very rude and dismissive. The female cleaner was smiley and that was probably it’s only redemptive quality.

I chose to stay in a hotel to help them stay alive in the competition with Air BNB, since hotels pay taxes and Air BNB don't. It happened to be a bad choice of who to fight for - the whole stay was bad, from begining to end. Staff members will smile and chit-chat, but what's the point if the service is just so bad? Bad bed, bad cleaning, no fair price for breakfast as there are incredible baleries around. Room too hot and it was spring time! Lesson learnt, next time Air BNB hands down.
