Nice location, large parking free and also parking garage (for a fee). The hotel is not new and a bit old fashioned but the rooms are big and clean. We had a nice room with balcony. No air conditioning. The restaurant is very good. Breakfast is just ok.

Excellent room and breakfast, but the owner apparently thinks it is normal to organize a wedding with loud music every evening. We booked this hotel because of the quiet rooms they promote. Lie awake for 2 nights with windows and earplugs still awake from the beats. Ridiculous for so much money, not recommended!

Spent a single night at the hotel on a business trip, and the hotel ticked all the boxes I need for such stay: - Easy to reach just off the Autobahn (and railway station 100 meters away); - Parking easily available - free off charge outside, or for € 10 in the basement; - Reasonably large and well appointed rooms - very clean (although the age Shows); - Sufficient WLAN/WiFi quality for my needs; - Same reasonable breakfast spread as other business Hotels (but no made-to-order eggs, pancakes etc.) - Did dine at the Italian restaurant, and again - reasonable - I did not try the Sauna & co. so cannot comment. but the view to the Ponds from my room was quite nice and Relaxing. In conclusion - a business hotel one where one can have an efficient stay. € 145/night is in my opinion right at the limit for the quality offered, the same goes for the restaurant prices that also appear optimised... The location is optimal for where I need to go in Duisburg, so I will certainly check for pricing and availability next time around.
