BEST WESTERN Waldhotel Eskeshof

Upon arrival after 4 hours of driving, there isn't even the possibility to enjoy anything. At the reception there was a grumpy employee who didn't even bother to explain everything. We had to find the clean towels ourselves, and if we wanted the room cleaned, we had to give notice a day in advance. I think this service should take place every day and that I should indicate if the room does not need to be done. In the pool, the lights didn't work in the changing rooms, and there was a broken showerhead. Also, after four days we needed a new toilet roll which we could pick up at the reception (didn't even get a new one). It felt like a campsite instead of a hotel. Overall, this was not what we expected from this hotel and I will not recommend this hotel to anyone and I will certainly not be coming back here. I will also recommend traveldeals to get this hotel from their website because what you book and pay for is very misleading.

- Restaurant is TOP - Food is A1 - Breakfast buffet is great - Wellness area 👎 - Sauna broken / not usable - massage shower in the pool broken / not usable - pool really dirty on the first day, there were thick clumps of hair on the edge - while swimming I always had other people's hair between my fingers - wellness area rather uncomfortable - room very small, but sufficient - big minus for the carpet in the room - double room with a bed size of 140cm width - toilet flush not working - otherwise bathroom o.k. - staff in general very nice - we would not choose this hotel again because of too many negative points

Swimming pool was rented 11:30 -14:00.We 2small children and 3 adult are jumped in reception said you may swim there she later came back.By order of police leave the pool and in the room 2 crying children! The smallest sleeps at 2pm! That way there is not much time left to swim. No communication from the hotel that pool not available, if inquired every Sunday rents, was that restaurant is closed. Management is shielded by reception and would have a day off and is NOT called but emailed. Everyone looks at us angry now. Have booked this hotel pool for children
