Hotel Alt Duesseldorf

Our room was on the 2nd floor (room 201) in the annexe across the street and at the back of the building, so we were not kept awake by music or noisy partygoers, as reported in some reviews. There was no elevator. Breakfast was good and the staff were helpful but that is as good as it gets. The bathroom had a cracked basin, the towel rail was dangling off the wall, the hairdryer didn't work, the mirror light didn't work and there was no soap in the dispenser in the shower. In the bedroom the curtains were too thin to keep out the light, furniture was crude and chipped and the door was a very poor fit.

Small hotel in the heart of the old town. Bolkerstr. It is 20 meters away. Pedestrian zone. Single room is small but clean. The single room costs nearly €60.00 for one night. The elevator is closed from 1:00 AM to 6:30 AM. Carrying a suitcase down the steep stairs at 6:00 AM is simply awful. No one was there. Reception closed. I do not have any recommendation. V. Gamradt

Due to the very central location perfect for visiting the old town. Room adequately equipped, bathroom good and breakfast more than good. Unfortunately, the parking garages within walking distance are very expensive. 24 hours 30€.
