Hotel Mirage

I stayed alone for 1 night at Mirage. Perfectly fine for one night. Close to the train station and the center. The staff friendly, the room clean and although I am used to harder mattresses, I found the soft mattress to be very comfortable and cuddly. I had room 202, It faces the backyard and is very quiet. However, a very big drawback is that you should not open the window for ventilation. Then the room stinks within seconds like a kebab frit forge. I don't want to imagine what it's like in the summer. Hence only 3 stars from me.

Unfortunately, our stay at Hotel Mirage was disappointing overall. There were four of us, including a child, and had booked two rooms. First impression: Even from the outside, the hotel does not make a good impression – the facade looks old and unkempt, as do the windows. There is no parking directly at the hotel, not even for short-term loading or unloading, which is very impractical. Reception & Service: At the reception were two female employees who seemed rather unmotivated; one of them barely spoke German. Friendliness or a warm welcome we missed unfortunately. Rooms & facilities: The elevators are old, the hallways dark and the carpet heavily stained – everything seems very old. The room doors are modern with a code system, but that's the only positive thing. In one of our rooms neither heating nor hot water worked, which made it very cold. In the second room the heating was fine. Despite the problem being reported to reception, nothing was done, and even the hotel manager the next morning allegedly knew nothing about it. Breakfast & value for money: Breakfast is only possible with prior reservation and is significantly overpriced at €15 per person (also for children!) – especially given the general condition of the hotel. We have therefore renounced it. Other: Parking is only possible in the car park opposite the train station, about 500 meters away. For a short stopover or a night before the flight (e.g. from Dusseldorf) the hotel may just be acceptable, but for a longer stay I cannot recommend it. Conclusion: Overall not a pleasant hotel experience. The hotel looks old, in need of renovation and disorganized. Just fine for one night, but certainly not a place to feel comfortable or want to stay longer.

Merhaba I stayed at this hotel on Monday at 19-21 pm via booking.com and went to the room they gave me at night and there was another family who lived. we wanted to take a shower from fatigue said there was no hot water they put boxes of shampoo instead of hand soap they were willing to give some hot water on Sunday the room is not full I will not stay again and we can't get anywhere from booking com
