Schnellenburg am Rhein

The location is great - direct walking distance to the Merkur Arena - the breakfast was also good. What was not good: the rooms are very poorly insulated. We had approx. 35 degrees in the room - that is 10 more than outside. Our room did not have a fan. Unfortunately, the aircraft noise is also very strong. Okay for one night, but nothing more

We went to the restaurant. Three dishes ordered, one was forgotten and served when the other people were already done. Restaurant very nicely located, nice view of the Rhine. Food for the prices rather mediocre. For us, unfortunately, the service was a disaster. Map on the Internet did not match the menu in the restaurant, map bore the name of the fair that was just taking place.

concerns only the restaurant: Kitchen and service not satisfactory, communication poor (hot sauce for children despite hint). Food is not brought to a group in a coordinated manner. Decoration despite ordering at rest stop level.
