Astoria City Resort

The worst room cleaning service I've ever seen.

A hotel near the Gelsenkirchen Amphitheater was sought. This accommodation came up. Positives first: Parking was free. And the receptionist was extremely friendly and helpful after I called her (it was probably too early, check-in is not possible before 3 PM). How a first impression can be deceiving... Everything else was just creepy: The room was small and had formerly white curtains that a) you hardly wanted to touch and b) fell out of the track when you wanted to open the window. No blackout options. No accessible power outlets for connecting devices, a joke of a television, so small, and ultra-slow Wi-Fi. In the bathroom, there was a shower with a shower curtain that was already developing mold, and the toilet had a flush that only worked every other time. The bed had very soft mattresses that shifted with every movement on the bed frame, so you had to be afraid of ending up on the uninviting carpet with the mattress. :(

The hotel is a disaster you don't even know where to start in reception the cups have been standing for two days. You don't have a global beer in the room curtain moldy from the shower this is already very disgusting bathtub not cleaned reception hall. Can you wait for staff Come just no breakfast is a pure disaster of no eggs. No orange juice. Staff is overwhelmed TV does not work where I had said take care of it. Nobody cared about it ever again the hotel and that is supposed to have 3 stars. Not even one of them
