Stayed two days at the hotel's guest house and were pleasantly surprised. We had a very nice, clean and well equipped double room. The bathroom with shower was very nice. For me personally, the beds are a bit too soft, but that's different for everyone. The breakfast buffet was very good and the staff very friendly and accommodating! If we come back to Essen then definitely back in this hotel. Extra point: located directly at the fair and central to everything else. Private parking space

Room and bathroom are very old, actually in need of renovation. I was in the hotel for many nights 15 years ago for work, I have the impression that everything is still exactly the same as it was then, bathrooms, tiles, carpeting in the room etc. are still exactly the same in my impression, and not contemporary at all. In the breakfast room also since the change of ownership no coffee machine for self-service available.

Nice little hotel in Essen. Very clean throughout the hotel. A new bathroom with high water pressure. Breakfast was delicious, especially good rolls. My room in the back building was very quiet and overlooking the garden. Overall very good
