Ringhotel Appelbaum

This is my third stay at the Appelbaum in the last three years. Unfortunately, the quality of the rooms has gone down two steps. The bathroom has a strange, rotten, stale smell. The carpet in the room has obvious dirt stains. The refrigerator in the comfort room is also gone. Overall, it has deteriorated considerably. The owner should take quick action here. Then the price can be adjusted. When I stay overnight away from home for business or at the weekend, I want to feel comfortable. Unfortunately, that is no longer the case here.

Very comfortable stay, very friendly staff. Room was spacious and mattresses were comfortable. This hotel has retained a family atmosphere. Convenient location just 10 minutes walk to the city centre or railway station.

This hotel is 10 minutes walk out of town and that means it is so quiet. The staff on reception were incredibly helpful and were always happy to help. We booked one double and one single room. The double room had a coffee machine, air conditioning, it was massive and had everything we needed. The single room did not have air conditioning, and had no coffee machine but I was told the room was comfortable and spacious. The breakfast was outstanding and had a lot of options. We had a vegetarian in our party and they had plenty to choose from. The beer garden was so nice to sit in, it was clean and tidy and the bar staff were outstanding. Really courteous and made sure everthing was kept to a very high standard. I would definitely return!
