Waldhotel Silbermuhle

We had reserved there for Saturday as part of a round trip. Then on Saturday, the message that we had to order our food in advance. Unusual, but we did it. Then the message via WhatsApp that it was not available that way, and I asked for feedback. Since there was no response and no one could be reached by phone either, I asked for a callback. Sunday then the confirmation via WhatsApp and subsequently the message WE WOULD NOT BE WELCOME AS GUESTS BECAUSE WE HAD LACKED RESPECT TOWARD THEM. I do not know what is disrespectful about a POLITE INQUIRY, and when asked, the reaction was only very cheeky and aggressive. Something like this has never happened to us before, and on the rest of our tour, we only had good experiences in the restaurants.

What a delicious breakfast! Although we were only four people, a large quality selection was put together for us at the buffet: Various types of sausages,- ham,- and cheeses, jams, honey, fruit, eggs were brought to the table according to our wishes - and all in a cozy atmosphere with bubbling oven and the great antiques. It was a real treat for us! Of course, we would love to come back. Thank you.

I fell in love with this magical fairy tale hotel when I stayed over for only one night. I had called ahead to ask for a room with a balcony and a bath tub, and from my very first chat with the owner, Peter, on the phone, my friend and I were made to feel warmly welcomed. Tucked away in an idyllic forest setting, the room was brilliantly clean, comfortable, filled with charming details, framed art and prints, interesting books, telephones, complimentary chocolates, fruit, water and coffee and I enjoyed an absolute dream bath! The delicious and spectacular breakfast spread was also very enjoyable. The hospitality, quality and charm I experienced there will stay with me and I hope to return for a longer stay while Peter is still there.
