Kempe Komfort Hotel Dusseldorf

The hotel is getting old. In the bathroom, the towel rails hang so high that you can hardly get to it unless you are 1.90 m tall. In the shower cup there are mold stains, light in the bathroom is very muted, the rest of the furniture is kept simple, expressed cautiously, in the 3 days I had booked, neither the trash cans were emptied nor cleaned. The reception is only open until 2 pm. Afterwards check-in via machine at the front door and only by debit or credit card. There's no breakfast, but a coffee car, if you don't have a €2 piece, bad luck, there's no coffee either. The staff, when they are then present, are friendly.

Horrible hotel, next to the train, looks dodgy and very noisy. I also found the staff very unfriendly. The curtains are not closing properly and the carpet on the hallway full of stains. This is definitely not a 3 star hotel. The breakfast was Ok but other than that never again.

The hotel is simple and a bit dated. Very friendly service, good breakfast, everything clean. All in all, good value for money. The location is also good, fairly quiet, my room even had a small balcony.
