The Rilano Hotel Cleve City

We arrived on Friday as an 11-person family to spend a weekend in Kleve and celebrate a golden wedding anniversary in a small setting. We had five different rooms, single rooms, family rooms with two extra beds, and double rooms. All were exceptionally laid out, e.g., shower in the middle or washbasin free-standing like a kitchen island. Great, simply different, yet plenty of space everywhere and also space in the closets. So, rooms were great. The breakfast was very good and plentiful; no wish was left unfulfilled. Super. The big special feature: although the kitchen and bar would actually have been closed on Sunday evening, we were offered in advance to host our small celebration in the hotel's own restaurant on Sunday evening. So, extra staff were there for this small group and hosted us very, very well. Very friendly and helpful, e.g., regarding table selection and decoration and various "special requests." And the food, which was even à la carte, was totally super delicious, everything fresh, everything ready at the same time, everyone was super satisfied... Hats off! Many heartfelt thanks to the team, the kitchen, the reception, and the service; everything was great and we were all very satisfied... and we are all naturally very critical... The room was indeed barrier-free. The toilet is not separated from the sleeping area: so it may smell unpleasant everywhere. Upon request, I received the statement: all rooms are like this. However, according to the website, that is not the case! A cup and a towel were dirty. The curtain had tears.

Room on the 2nd floor after much effort can book for 2 people. The bed was covered for 1 person. 1 duvet and 1 normal pillow and 1 limp pillow for the side. At the reception no one present to report. Very bad service so.
