Akzent Hotel Landhaus Heinen

I was there for a night, was not wifi available, room old fashion, small bed, minimalist breakfast. Bathroom was really old and shower water was not stable. My colleague’s room was not heating available. Not recommendable from my point of view as frequent travelller.

We stayed here in December 2017 for three nights. The hotel was very quiet when we stayed, just before christmas, however, there was still a full choice at breakfast with plenty to choose from. We had a 2nd floor room with a balcony, not really the weather to sit out but it was nice to have the door open for fresh air. Nice view across the fields and also across the amazing kitchen gardens at the hotel. We ate in the restaurant every evening, again, lots of choice on the menu and the food is excellent. We would stay here again if in the area.

The staff are friendly, the rooms clean, warm and comfortable. The decor and facilities a bit dated but unless you intend to spend a lot of time in the room I don't think it is that important. The only lack I felt was that there was no kettle. The breakfast had a great selection of cereal, breads, cheese and meats. The restaurant lacks vegetarian options but is fine as a bar, the nearest other restaurant is about a mile away. I'd happily stay again if in the area.
