Holiday Inn Moenchengladbach

Hotel looks bad from the outside, but the hotel rooms are fine. We were in the weekend because of match of Borussia Mönchengladbach. There were a lot of supporters in the hotel. Breakfast was very, very good. Plenty present and lots of variety. Hotel bar pretty cozy. Bar stools and chairs need replacement. Overall picture: fine for a night, but on the expensive side.

The hotel is old The room decoration is old and the floor ir covered with carpet, with stains... The bathroom looks also oldfashioned and it has a tub!!! How many people still use the tub? Personnel try not to talk to you. They do not salute. Breakfast is OK although trying to find a table can be challeging. Not going back, if I can.

Once again we had a great stay with our family in Leonardo Hotel Mönchengladbach. From the check-in until departure we encountered friendly staff. We felt welcome right away. We stayed at a spacious comfort room, with our kids from 8 and 5 years old which made use of the sofa bank. Within a nice walk of approximately 5 minutes your reach the lovely city-centre of Mönchengladbach. We would definitely recommend this hotel for a city-trip.
