Mercure Hotel Muenster City

Very comfortable hotel, soundproofed, clean, and in front of the station. There are restaurants and shops around, and it is literally a 10-minute walk to the old town. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We experienced a heatwave in Germany, and the air conditioning in the hotel worked very well. We recommend the breakfast for €14.

We stayed one night last at the Trip Inn Münster City. The location is at a very busy street apposite the railway station. Although not the nicest neighborhood, it is very close to the city center. The hotel is OK but simple. Positives: very clean, friendly staff, ice cold AC, good breakfast, and the location to the city. Parking in the public garage across the street (€20 per day). Negatives: small basic room, AC blows very cold directly onto the bed and you need to close the windows due to the street noise. Not enough seating in the breakfast room. Conclusion: OK for one night but not worth the €195 we paid (last minute).

After the drive home due to traffic jams, infaeces and weather, there was snow, we made a stop here. The room and bathroom were clean. Ideal for a short stay. What it looks like on a stay of several days, I don't know. This is certainly a very personal view. Breakfast was rich and good. The hotel we can recommend good certain. Parking is available in the neighbouring car parks. Price for that is moderate.
