Hotel Fahrhaus am Rhein

What has this hotel become. Where it used to always be fine, it is now in decay. Breakfast very meager. Nothing is clean and everything looks neglected. The terrace is a mess, the tables are dirty, inside too by the way, the floors are dirty everywhere. Shower head full of limescale, hard beds, soft pillows, and we didn't even have curtains for the windows so it was half past five in the room. The new owner has not done a good job with this hotel. What a pity, because the place is beautiful.

Hotel with spacious and clean rooms. Comfortable bed. Very useful the presence of a restaurant on the ground floor (especially if it is a business trip for one / two days). Breakfast maybe a little skimpy (little choice, mostly salty). Cost perhaps a little too high.

We stayed here for the night on New Year's Eve. A small and unkindly simply furnished room, but expensively priced at € 100 for one night. The hammer was then the breakfast booked for €25 per person. No buffet or similar but some slices of cheese and 3 kinds of sausage, some rolls, no bread, all of the lowest quality. A cup of coffee and some scrambled eggs were added. Unfortunately, the owner who had greeted us at check in friendly, was unresponsive in the morning. We are appalled by this stay and cannot recommend this place.
