A-Econ Hotel Wittenstein

We were given a room with a broken bed lamp, glass and blood (not ours) in the sheets. We were given a dust pan to clean it up with, no offer of help or a different room. We had to sleep on one of the two single beds to avoid glass and be safe and no refund of costs. Room smelled of smoke despite being non smoking with smokers outside sole window. Awful.

We had a very bad experience! After 14.30 the reception closes (this is not written at booking.com through which we had made the reservation), the guy on the phone did not want to explain anything,he was very rude and was hunging up the phone. Moreover, although according the site the hotel would give us a code to enter the room in case that we arrived later than 14.30, the guy on the phone didn't because he wanted to go to see football (as he claimed) and hang the phone up again. We complained at booking.com and we ve got another room somewhere else.

It was a convinient solution, people were very helpfull and friendly, the place was not not new but i was cosy and for a limited tme stay, it wical a good locatas pract ion close to swebevan ant to many locations of interest at a walking distance
