Landhaus Fluch

The house has been renovated and an annex with new rooms has been added. In the public areas everything is nice and modern. My room was in the old building, clean but still decorated in the old style. The mattress was too soft for me. Breakfast for € 4.80 was very good. This price, probably chosen for tax reasons, makes the room much too expensive. Staff is rarely seen in the house. No service at breakfast (the staff just filled up the buffet). Only at check out was there contact with the staff. Asked if the stay was good was not. The location of the house is suboptimal to the city center.

A nicely kept, moderately sized hotel far enough away from the centre of Bad Durkheim to make driving easy and escape any crowds. Liked the comfortable room, the clean and modern bathroom, the breakfasts, the ample parking space and the relative ease of access from the main road. Wasn't sure what we'd find based on the photographs, but the interior outperformed expectations. Would happily stay here again.

Booked this hotel since all other properties in Bad Durkheim were sold out. The hotel is located around 25 minutes walk from the town center, on a quiet street. Reception staff is only available in the mornings and from 16:00 to 19:00 in the evening. When I arrived around 15:30 my room key has been waiting for me at the reception desk. The room was nice and clean, with a flat screen TV (mostly German channels) and a complimentary bottle of water. There is a balcony with a small table and two chairs. On the downside - WiFi is extremely slow, and the wardrobe is a bit small. Breakfast is ok, but not too much choice. Reception staff was nice and helpful.
