Ferienwohnungen Pies

We booked an apartment here for the Jahrmarkt. The location was convenient for our requirements - a short stroll to the nearby shops and restaurants and around 20 minutes walk to Pfingstwiese. I had concerns about hot water as there were 4 women who would be showering every day. We found that this was not a problem at all and the hot water never ran out. I shared the main bedroom with my friend and we were impressed by the size of the bed which was also very comfortable. We discovered plenty of towels in the large wardrobe and found the kitchen to be sufficiently equipped although we did not cook during our stay. We found our host to be very friendly and helpful and would definitely recommend to our friends. The only downside to the accomodation was the lack of wi-fi.

Great location in easy walking distance of centre. Clean & basic (not really equipped for cooking - take a coffee/tea mug too as cups were expresso size) with a good shower & a separate bedroom. However the towels provided were really only suitable for car washing - small, thin & cardboardy. Mentioned this to the owner & he smiled & ignored. However he did bring a bottle of (sweet) white wine & 4 bread rolls as a welcome, which was a nice touch. Would have been useful to have a few leaflets left for reference as the tourist office was shut when we arrived. Wouldn't rush back but OK for a week.
