My stay at the Achat Comfort Hotel in Frankenthal was unfortunately disappointing. A positive point to highlight is that the room was clean and tidy. However, the quality of the furnishings left something to be desired overall. The beds were completely saggy and so uncomfortable that it felt like sleeping on the floor. Furthermore, the refrigerator in the room did not work properly and did not cool at all. The food also failed to convince me. It reminded me more of the offerings at a rest stop than the catering I would have expected at a hotel. The hotel is managed as a 3-star standard hotel. Based on my personal experience, however, it could not meet this standard for me. Overall, I would not recommend this hotel. In my opinion, even a youth hostel is the better choice. I would, however, like to highlight the employee at the front desk. She was very friendly, helpful, and accommodating. It is a shame that her good service could not make up for the overall disappointing impression of the stay.

The Achat Hotel Frankenthal is well located in front of the city center, you are there on foot in a few minutes. In front of the hotel there is a number of free parking spaces, in addition to the paid underground parking. The reception was very friendly and the check-in professional, the desired quiet room available. The room was nicely renovated, even equipped with a fridge, additional mezzanine door to the hotel corridor and a free bottle of mineral water in the room. The advantage for us was that the windows could be opened completely. Despite that the hotel was very well booked, there was no noise during the night time. We would stay there again, the value for money was very good!

Affordable, well-located hotel next to the Congress Center. The staff are all friendly and competent. My room was big enough for me alone. Breakfast was also plentiful with a wide selection. One point deducted for the very hard mattresses and the poor quality plastic pillow, which is why I only slept semi-well. One plus point is definitely the underground car park and it is very quiet.
