Posthotel Hans Sacks

Stayed here for one night on our way to Bavaria. The hotel is slightly old-fashioned, but in a good way. Very clean, decent beds, good breakfast buffet, free parking, quet night's sleep. The receptionist appears to be running the place single-handedly and is very friendly, helpful and again, slightly old-fashioned. Worth staying here is you are not keen on ultra modern establishments.

The hotel exceeded our expectations. Not sure where 2 star rating is coming from, we were very pleased with our stay. The lady who runs the hotel (sorry didn't get her name) was super sweet, speaks English perfectly. She explained everything in detail, was very accommodating. Breakfast had good selection and excellent coffee. The room was on a small side, but very adequate for our needs. Super clean and the beds were very comfortable. The location is perfect if you want to explore the old town and the castle, yet just 10 min walking distance from the train station.

Second time we have visited this hotel, owner recalled us from last trip just on three years ago! We had two good rooms, both with shower, etc. Lovely breakfast, with good coffee and tea. Found we had arrived for free band shows in centre, good night out. Recommend anyone travelling in Germany to stay here at least for one night.
