Burgschanke

This is a nice hotel/restaurant that has a B&B feel to it, and the room had a cute personality. The breakfast bar area was very nice and you could sit in an area that felt like a patio. The only problem we had was the room had been set up for only one person and we booked for two. We informed the reception of the mixup and they gave us a nice beer stein for the mishap.

The Hotel Burgschanke is a wonderful place. The accommodations are comfortable and the staff are awesome. The Hotel restaurant serves some fantastic tasting meals with a great selection of wine & beer

This hotel is very traditional and quaint. It has a restaurant on the bottom which has authentic German fare, great decor and a bar with delicious Paulaner Hefeweizen. The staff is friendly. The shocking part for my wife and I was the bed. She asked for a double and that literally what we got. Two twin beds put together. I guess this is pretty standard in Germany? Not big on snuggling? Yet, the beds were comfortable a long as we stayed on our sides. Great, Authentic German fare breakfast. Excellent location. Very romantic. There is a church right behind it and you can hear church bells throughout the day. There is castle ruins up behind the church, just a short uphill hike behind the hotel. My wife and I would definitely stay here again
