Hotel Krone

A great hotel! Great rooms, great location right on the Moselle, excellent breakfast. The staff and the owner are very attentive and fulfill every wish. The dinner in the restaurant is also absolutely recommended. We will definitely come back. Thank you very much for the wonderful time!

We were there for two nights for the 30th birthday of my girlfriend with her family in three rooms at the Uferdeck in Traben-Trarbach and can really only report positive things. The hotel left an exceptionally good impression on us from the first to the last minute. The rooms are very spacious, tasteful, and offer everything one needs for a pleasant stay. However, we would like to highlight the breakfast in particular: The selection and, above all, the quality were excellent. Especially with the rolls and the overall very high-quality selection, you notice that value is placed on quality here. The breakfast was definitely one of the highlights of the stay for us. What ran through the entire stay, however, and in our opinion makes a very special difference, is the service. The staff, especially the waiters in the evening, were consistently outstanding: attentive, courteous, polite, and at the same time extremely professional and articulate. Exactly this type of service is what one might even expect in a significantly higher-priced establishment. Hospitality is truly lived here. The owner herself also made a very positive impression on us. You can tell that she enjoys her work and is very committed to it. At the same time, she remains professional and confident at all times—a combination we found extremely pleasant. The dinner also convinced us. The selection was very good, the dishes were excellently presented, and truly convincing in terms of taste. The sauces and dips in particular left a positive impression on us—there is definitely attention to detail behind them. In terms of price, the Uferdeck is in the higher range, which from our perspective is absolutely justified. Especially in view of the outstanding service, the quality of the breakfast, the food, and the entire stay, the price-performance ratio is perfectly consistent for us. We had nothing to complain about at any time during the entire two nights and felt completely comfortable and welcome. For a special occasion, but just as much for a normal stay on the Moselle, the Uferdeck is absolutely recommended from our perspective.
