Unfortunately, our stay at this hotel gave us a very disappointing start to our two-week cycling holiday.
Before arriving, we contacted the hotel about parking from July 10th to July 23rd. We were told that parking could not be reserved, but that the hotel had 80 parking spaces. We therefore expected there would be a reasonable chance of getting a space.
When we arrived, we could not drive up to the entrance because of a raised bump, so we had to stop where parking was not allowed and carry three heavy bicycle bags each up to the hotel.
There was a queue at reception. A female staff member was sitting outside in the shade and only came inside after a while. Even then, she did not go straight behind the reception desk to help the waiting guests. We were then given conflicting information about parking. The male receptionist told us we could park for a maximum of five days, while the female staff member said we could only park for one day. We offered to show the email we had received from the hotel, but nobody wanted to look at it.
We were simply handed our key cards without any information. I had to ask where our room was, and the whole welcome felt cold and unwelcoming.
The following morning, I calmly tried to explain that our disappointment was not about getting a parking space, but about the way we had been treated. I also explained that my English is not very good, but before I had a chance to explain properly, I was told to “speak properly.” As I walked away, I heard two staff members comment on my English and laugh.
We travel a lot and have stayed in many hotels over the years, but we have rarely experienced such poor customer service. Unfortunately, we cannot recommend this hotel.

Ok where to start, it’s June of 2026, Europe is in the grips of a monumental heat wave. When my group checked in i noticed it was a little warm in the building. Upon entering my room it was over 90 degrees. My room received full sun all afternoon. I turned on the A/C only to find it has been”temporarily out of service” since August 2025. I got a whole 3 hours sleep last night and woke up soaking the sheets with sweat. I requested a fan on 4 occasions and was told none were available, i asked for the one behind the desk, but my request was ignored. Not sure who this fella was, but at least answer me.I finally asked to move my room and that was granted. Much better around the back of the hotel.
Aside from the A/C, no rooms have any of the following. Iron, small refrigerator, proper dresser, instructions to access WiFi. The shower controls are so tight that you can not properly regulate the water temp, really sad.
While most of the staff was helpful, there were others who could care less, constantly on their phone or browsing the internet on the hotel workstations. I don’t know how this will survive unless some changes are made. I feel for the staff that cares as they have to cover for people who never move from the chair.
Really the worst Wyndham hotel I have ever been in.

Excellent experience checking in. We accidentally booked two rooms on the same night and they were kind in helping us book for a second night on short notice and even threw in breakfast voucher for one day and reduced the price for the next day. It was extremely kind of them since it was our mistake. Absolutely wonderful service
