Super bad, no one present could not pick up my key later an email that there should be key safe somewhere. Haven't found anyone either guests can hotel in a run out. Very dark, ordinary drama even the low price does not make up for this. Went to another hotel. Don't get that middlemen put this Hotel on their site. (UNLESS THE EARNED MODEL IS MORE IMPORTANT THAN YOUR CUSTOMERS) (PEOPLE STAY AWAY FROM THIS YOU REALLY DON'T WANT)

Absolutely unacceptable experience. Avoid this hotel. This was one of the worst hotel experiences my family and I have ever had. After driving for more than 10 hours from Spain through France to Germany, I arrived at Hotel Wahlster in Saarbrücken late at night with a small child, expecting to check into our confirmed and prepaid reservation. Despite having a valid Booking.com confirmation, proof of payment from my bank account, and the payment receipt provided by Booking.com, the hotel representative refused to let us check in. Instead of trying to solve the situation professionally, the receptionist was extremely rude, unprofessional, and dismissive. I was even accused of trying to cheat the hotel by staying without paying, despite showing clear proof that the payment had already been made. After a long journey and in the middle of the night, I was left outside on the street in Saarbrücken with a small child. This is completely unacceptable treatment of guests. What made the situation even worse was that we were not the only guests experiencing problems. We saw three other guests struggling to enter the hotel, while the receptionist was apparently trying to manage their access and check-in through WhatsApp messages. This showed a shocking lack of organization, communication, and professionalism. A hotel should have a proper reception process and clear communication with guests not leave tired travelers standing outside at night trying to figure out how to get inside. The entire experience showed a complete failure of hospitality, customer service, and basic respect for guests. Shame on you, Hotel Wahlster. A confirmed reservation should mean something, and no guest should be treated this way. I strongly recommend travelers think twice before booking this hotel. A place that cannot handle basic communication and guest support does not deserve the trust of customers!

There was nothing to complain about.... I would love to go back.... Dogs are no problem either.... Why some people rate so poorly is not understandable to me
