Schloss Schweinsburg Hotel

The gastronomy keeps me from future visits.

First of all, a big thank you again to the lady from the night service, who tipped us off on the evening of 15.02.26, with the taxi order from Zwickau, after we were fully transferred in Crimmitschau. Without this tip, we would have been stranded. To the hotel, great room, a very quiet hotel and breakfast with various choices, very tasty. Too bad we could not stay in the castle itself. But there was a winter fairy tale after getting up. We will definitely come back.

The hotel is by no means of a 4 star standard. Our room was of size and equipment such as h.B. Bed size an imposition. Worn the stairs to the floor. In the corridor carpet with torn pieces. No elevator. When asked about another room, they said you were fully booked, which was not true. When it was pointed out that they would evaluate accordingly, it was pithy literally “they are welcome to do so”. Photos of the staircase and the runner are available. We travel a lot, but never have we been so badly accommodated in a so-called 4 star hotel. Had chosen the accommodation with its offside location only because there was nothing in Zwickau directly in this category. Afterwards we stayed in a 3 star hotel in Chemnitz and were even more surprised by the 4 star classification of the castle hotel. Even if it is of no use, we will still share our experiences with the hotel association.
