Steigenberger Grandhotel Hande

We had a great time at the hotel, the staff was very friendly and helpful, the rooms were spacious, clean and well equipped, the breakfast was excellent and answered all our needs beyond our expectations. The hotel is located perfectly in the middle of the old city, surrounded with many restaurants and bars. We would definitely recommend staying there and come back if we will have a chance.

Excellent location, impressive architecture, beautifully furbished rooms, generous breakfast, good gym, impeccable service, Unfortunately, one night out of four, the room airco broke down, switching between freezing cold and no airco at all; that night, we did not sleep at all; the other days, the airco refused to switch off, turning the room into an uncomfortable fridge during daytime. Disaster.

Everything is okay all around, as one would expect from a five-star Steigenberger hotel. But unfortunately, if you have a problem, for example if you forgot something in your room upon departure, you are treated like you are very stupid; it must be said quite clearly, zero service, zero accommodation, no empathy.
