Victor Residenz Hotel Leipzig

The hotel is in an excellent position if you arrive by train. We had booked a junior suite which was extremely spacious, though would have benefited from a fridge in the room. Many comments mention the tram noise but if you use earplugs, this is not a problem. The breakfast is very good, with a wide choice of typical European breakfast standards. The hotel staff are friendly but not particularly knowledgeable even about their own geographical area. Not much English is spoken and the dinner menu is only in German.

We have already been to Victor's for the third time and were completely satisfied this time as well. A very nice hotel with excellent breakfast in a central location, the downtown area is easily reachable on foot, and the rooms are quite quiet despite the busy streets nearby. Not to forget: a truly stylish bar with a large selection of drinks. Conclusion: We will definitely come back!
