Thomas Hotel Spa & Lifestyle

Very modern hotel with friendly staff, great rooms, and a perfect location – absolutely recommended!

Unfortunately, I am not convinced. I let myself be lured by photos and reviews. The first room I received was worn out as well as unclean. Be it in the bathroom completely as well as in the sleeping area. Upon asking for a room change, the lady at the reception met me graciously and I received another room which was better in itself. Nevertheless, the carpet was old and stained, cobwebs and dust everywhere upon closer inspection. So, I cannot recognize 4 stars there with the best will in the world. I cannot provide any information about the spa. The location of the hotel is unbeatable, but the price-performance ratio of the rooms offered to me is not justified.

This time this stay was only worth 2 stars unfortunately.. we stayed there 3 nights and have rarely met such angry stressed and negative staff. At the same time the breakfast was tremendously sad and boring and the tables were not clean and there was limited selection of orders that were not properly arranged but simply “throwed away” at the same time you could see it was just taken out of the cold from the day before not filled again but had pulled skin overnight. Whether there have been new owners since we were here 5 years ago is not known but apart from the location this hotel was absolutely not worth the money this time. The spa area looked lovely but the person who took care of it didn't know if she wanted to answer or how to smile so we went again and had fun in the city where people were more welcoming. When we asked her if we had to get some ice cream she was negative and angry and just wanted to make us aware that they cost 1 euro and she wanted us to sign that she had told us. Peace be with the 1 euro but the service was completely in the weather. Practice practice for the location and the beds are super lovely. But you hardly even get up for breakfast, so it is better to eat at the baker further down the street. We will definitely come to Husum again but stay at this hotel in the future it is only to sleep as the location can not be better.
