A booking of the holiday apartment in the "Chapel" recorded and confirmed in writing 4 months ago will be cancelled by e-mail due to overbooking by the owners less than two weeks before departure. There was no explanation for the overbooking, even after explicit inquiry on the phone. The replacement offer (junior suite with breakfast) was no alternative for us due to the lack of cooking facilities. The fact that the owner only tried to find a comparable apartment with another host after intensive protest does not make the unilateral breach of contract any better. Never again for us.
