If you are not a very sound sleeper then consider avoiding this place. Dumpsters picked up at 5:25am, street sweepers pass by twice at 5:30am, and to top it off the church bells next door start ringing at 5:15am and ring every 15 minutes throughout the morning. Plus no AC so need to leave the windows open to cool off the room.

The hotel exudes the charm of times gone by and is run by a very friendly host family with ideas for modernization. The simple furnishings focus on comfort rather than beauty; it is clean and everything works. A very busy road runs right past the hotel, but you can sleep well with the window closed. The breakfast is good.

First let me say the new owner is a great guy, very friendly and eager to please. He was very helpful to make sure our lodgings were what we had reserved. We had a change in our reservations and he worked with us. He speaks excellent English so very easy to communicate with us. The property is quite old, but has been well maintained. And, there is an elevator!
