Quality Hotel Am Tierpark

Unfortunately, the double rooms are very small, the beds are very hard, and the shower is dangerous, with a high risk of slipping. Not recommended for people over 60.

In June 2024 I got to know the hotel during a bike tour (city trip from Eisenach via Gotha to Erfurt and Weimar). I especially noticed the friendly service, from the reception, to the staff in the restaurant and in the morning a friendly greeting from the cleaner in the hallway. The bikes were safely accommodated right on arrival, the batteries were allowed to be charged in the room as long as you were present yourself. The rooms are nicely decorated, not all bathrooms are modern, but clean ! The tour inspired me to go back to Thuringia in July 2024 and now book 4 days at the Hotel am Tierpark, combined with further trips by bike to the Three Equals, among others, very nice ! Between Christmas and New Year I had an appointment in Eisenach, which I used to book again in this hotel, even if only for one night, and to stroll through Gotha in the evening. You can reach the city center on foot within 15 minutes. I was looking forward to the extensive breakfast in advance. Overall I give 5 stars because the whole package is just right ! I will come back at the next opportunity;-)

Very clean and nice place. Very friendly staff. Always helpful. All very well maintained. Breakfast buffet absolutely excellent. Even for people with Intolerances were all present. Not often seen. Would love to come back
