Fair Resort

PLUS: Room, food, saunas top! Beauty & massages not tried, as there was no reservation in advance and on site it was no longer possible. Staff very nice. What I missed a little were masks and scrubs in the sauna. Since this can make a mess, I can understand that. I would still think it would be great. MINUS: Alcohol all inclusive, self-service wine & beer, for breakfast there is Prosecco & sparkling wine without 0.0 options. 0.0 sparkling wine would cost extra in the evening as part of the AI offer. I received it for free in the end. In the evening, men with too much beer chat you up or jump into the pool. Please, no alcohol in a wellness hotel. At least not all inclusive and always, everywhere available. Please do not argue with enjoyment and cultural assets! Alcohol is a neurotoxin and does not go with relaxation, detoxification, rest, and sports. Smoking is prohibited, after all.

We spent 3 days in the suite, with a balcony directly facing the highway. Very loud with the windows open. Furnishings not cozy. All-inclusive sounds tempting, but the consistently low-quality meals were nothing special. Overall, the hotel makes an "aging" impression. We will not come back again.

I was here for the 2nd time at this hotel. My husband for the 1st. Time. We had received the requested room. Checking in online worked great. Also booked lunch again. The room is equipped as standard - hair dryer, bath towels, TV, a large walk-in shower. The air conditioning worked - window must be closed!!! There are several elevators - so that disabled people can also easily get to the rooms. The meals were sufficient. What was available to eat was labeled. For breakfast, you could get freshly squeezed orange juice, coffee and non-alcoholic drinks, tea. The selection was fine. Lunch - which is supposed to be a small meal - was also good. Everyone found something here. The same applies to dinner. The dishes, whether salad or hot food, were freshly prepared and tasty. In the evening there was also ice cream and soup. Coffee time - plenty of cake, was always replenished. The pool area was great - enough lounge chairs. There were 3 pools - an indoor pool, an outdoor pool and one for sauna-goers. A sauna was also available for guests with clothing - everything was very clean. The sauna area is unparalleled; we have never seen anything like it. Many places to retreat for relaxing. Sports were also on the agenda - table tennis, darts, billiards, fitness equipment, among others. The young staff was attentive and friendly. Dishes were cleared away immediately during meals. We liked that a bathrobe and beach towels for the loungers were provided for the guest, and there was also the possibility to explore Jena by tram. A ticket was available at the reception. It is a hotel where you can feel comfortable and switch off. There are always things that can be improved. We will be back.
