The stay was okay, the breakfast buffet in particular was very good.

Everything fits in the hotel; I am a business traveler and have already felt comfortable in this hotel several times. The only downside is the fitness area: It has surely seen better days and urgently needs redesigning with proper equipment, outdoor chairs, and access to the sauna. As an immediate measure, a thorough cleaning, repair of the lighting, and maintenance of the equipment would already be a significant improvement. Some equipment is defective, others are completely worn out.

I was in Maxx hotel during the holidays of oct 31st. For a 4 starts hotel, I would expect that someone would clean the room and change the towels everyday. When I asked in the reception why the bed was no done and towels changed …. the reply was… today is a holiday in Germany. Normally people travel and stay in hotel during holidays… the hotel should have full service during holidays period. On the next day, when the bed was supposed to be made, it was so badly made. We could notice that who did the bed was not in good day.
