Lindner Hotel Werrapark Heubacher Hoehe

One week over the Christmas holidays with travel currently booked. Check in from 15:00 very slowly, we had to change the room because defects were present. On Christmas Eve, the hotel was well occupied, but there is only a relatively small buffet in the next room. This means queues up to the dining room. This was unlovingly decorated, no Christmas tree with lighting and no candle on the table. The staff from Poland were overwhelmed, the drink itself went quickest. Positive was the free parking and the sauna and swimming pool use. Apart from a torchlight walk, there were no activities from the hotel. The announced Santa did not appear, and the reception with the demand why, total Surprised. The surrounding area invites you to hike, only many paths through the deadwood are difficult to walk. The Heubach Ski Arena is also nearby, with lighting and snow cannons for the slopes. Bus stop at the hotel, but there are few buses a day. We 4 people and a small dog, stayed 4 days at this hotel. Dogs are not allowed in the dining room, but where is a dining room for guests with dogs??? This has never happened to us before. We had to sit in the aisle and here was not covered, service for drinks did not come. How can that be??? The food without spice, for breakfast always the same sausage and cheese. None of the staff spoke German. You can't let your guests sit in the corridor with a dog. As I said, this was an outrage. We really cannot recommend this place.
