Great location in the midst of shops and restaurants. Quiet room with working air and comfortable bed. Curtains kept the evening and morning lights out. Shower was good. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Breakfast on the rooftop was enjoyable. Staff did not rush me.

We enjoyed our time at this hotel. It is in an excellent central location near the ancient ruins of Hadrian's Library, with a large, lively square nearby which includes an underground link. Breakfast is a decent buffet on the rooftop terrace with good views of the Acropolis, the entrance to which is not very far to walk (albeit uphill). We had a first floor room with a balcony overlooking a busy street, which was interesting but could be noisy at night. I would have preferred a higher floor.

The property is dated, and the rooms (at least the one my wife and I stayed in) could use a refresh, but they are comfortable and very clean. Ours was also facing the interior and very quiet. The location is fabulous, practically in the center of Plaka, a short distance from the Monastiraki subway station and the Acropolis. The staff is extraordinarily friendly and very helpful: we felt warmly welcomed. Breakfast was served on the rooftop, with a spectacular view of the Acropolis. The buffet was small, but there was a bit of everything; additionally, a glass of fresh orange juice was always offered, a small but very appreciated gesture.
