I had an incredible stay at the Divani Caravel, but I have to give special recognition to the spa - especially my massage therapist, Freddy.
I've had massages all over the world, and this was one of the best. Freddy provided exactly the kind of deep pressure I was looking for while somehow making the experience incredibly relaxing at the same time. It was the perfect balance of therapeutic muscle work and total relaxation. In fact, I drifted off to sleep a couple of times, which almost never happens for me during a deep tissue massage.
The spa itself is peaceful, spotless, and beautifully maintained. They use almond oil during the treatment, which felt luxurious and left my skin feeling amazing afterward. Every detail of the experience was thoughtfully done, creating a truly calming atmosphere from start to finish.
If you're staying at the Divani Caravel, do yourself a favor and book a massage with Freddy. It was easily one of the highlights of my trip to Athens, and I wouldn't hesitate to return just for the spa experience.
