Plaka Hotel

Fantastic location and in easy walking distance of most attractions as well as being near public transport. The hotel staff were friendly and welcoming and were very approachable. We were asked each day if we needed anything and if our stay was good so far. Breakfast was fresh with lots of choice. Our room was spacious with fabulous air conditioning and a lovely balcony. The roof top terrace has an amazing view of the Acropolis both day and night. This hotel was absolutely perfect for our city break and I highly recommend it.

Location, location, location. Add beautiful room, great breakfast, and friendly, helpful staff. We will always stay at the Plaka Hotel when visiting Athens.

The location is just central and just a 100 mtr walk from Monstriaki and 400 mtrs from Plaka. The taverns around served really good Souvlaki and french fries and loved the ice creams bang opposite the hotel at Kayak The rooms are not big but beds are clean and comfortable and for the location believe think its value for money. They have a rooftop restaurant with great views. The breakfast spread is simple but good to start your day The front staff is very kind and also at the breakfast area. If come to visit Athens would be a hard choice between Plaka hotel and Makrygianni as both are great places to stay in Athens from a central perspective
