Savoy Hotel

We were in Piraeus for 5 days and were very satisfied with our room. The doors can be locked again from the inside, which we liked very much. Everything was clean, quiet, and the food was remarkably good. The staff is competent and friendly. The ambiance was upscale, while the rooms have classic Greek charm. The location is also a dream; you can reach the city center (and much more) on foot! Absolutely recommended if you want to visit the Piraeus district and do not want to get stuck in public transport to enjoy yourself in the city. Gladly again!

The Savoy is an old hotel which is well placed on a busy street in Piraeus. The staff there is FANTASTIC. If I were to go back, it would be for the staff. The elevator is very old and very small. I was scared to ride it alone. To bring our luggages up, the staff had to do it one by one. We get to our room, and it is also very small. The bathroom is so small that to close the door in order to use the bathroom, you have to squeeze toward the back of the toilet. It was impossible to use the bathroom and do what needs to be done after and not bang your arm or elbow somewhere. The best thing about the bathroom was the shower. The water was nice, hot and strong. We also look forward to the daily breakfast. Everything was delicious. The other thing that we loved, the bus stop was steps away from the hotel so we can ride it to downtown for little money. All in all, my group didn't like the Savoy at all but we all liked the staff and breakfast. Needless to say, we won't be staying there again.

Piraeus is ideal if wanting a hotel to stay overnight for a next day cruise out of Athens. We stayed at the hotel after a cruise, the hotel was reasonably priced, the rooms were little dated, but clean and the price was reasonable. We had drinks and dinner at the hotel, the staff were exceptionable to us. The hotel was very helpful to suggest ideas to spend the afternoon in the city and they organised a very early taxi for us. No problem in recommending them
