Akrotiri

The small village in the north of Kythira is the perfect place for people who want quitness. Lovely pebble beach, good snorkling and a few nice tavernes. Hotel Akrotiri is the best place to stay, the owners will treat you like a vip.

We had a lovely stay here, the rooms are very clean and well equipped. The owners are very helpful. They told us about the less known and interesting attractions on the island, as well as amazing places to eat which we could not have known about otherwise. They were so helpful that while we were on the island, there there was no fuel due to a strike, so we could not use our car and the owner lent us his car so we could continue our sightseeing. This was so generous and we are really grateful. The only issue is that the hotel is at the northern part of the island which is well located for attactions in the middle and north (which are the best in Kythira) but far for a couple of main attractions on the south (about 1 hour drive). I will stay here again when I visit.

Very charming and calm place for long stay with outstanding seaview to the Peloponese and ships. The owners and staff are very friendly and helpful. There is good taverna 150m from the hotel. We really miss this place.
