Sirene Blue Resort

We had two rooms for our family stay at Sirene Blue (not connecting - not sure if that’s a possibility). As soon as you arrive you are struck by the stunning views from this hotel. It is very well positioned with a pool, beach and sea deck together with beach bar/taverna at the base, with the reception, bar and main restaurant up top. It is a 5 minute drive from the port and main town. Facilities are good and staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms were a little underwhelming - primarily due to their very small size, but they had a balcony and were clean and nicely designed. The bathrooms could do with a bit of a fix up - the shower in both rooms was difficult to use as the shower head holder was broken (rusted in place such that if you used it the water shot above your head and out of the shower). That meant holding the shower whilst showering - so not exactly a 5 star feel. We asked if it could be fixed, but they either couldn’t or didn’t do so in either room. The TV was also fairly pointless if you aren’t Greek - there was only a news channel in English and it wasn’t a smart TV - so no streaming. It has mirroring - but only if you have android. I have come across this at other hotels and find it highly annoying when a service provider thinks that providing for only half the population is sufficient. Food was very good at the main restaurant and the lobby bar (we didn’t try the taverna), but the breakfast offering was poor - hard fruit, poor cuts of meat, cold eggs and overall a poor selection. It was the worst of our 5 hotels in Greece on this trip and I don’t think I have seen such a poor offering at a 5 star hotel before. But overall we had a pleasant stay.

I spent 5 nights at Sirene Blue and absolutely loved my stay. Of course, the sea views are breathtaking, and I never got tired of looking at them from my balcony. But what impressed me even more was the attention to detail throughout the hotel and the warmth of the people working there. I appreciate thoughtful design, and this hotel truly excels at it. From the NUXE toiletries and soft towels to the beautiful combination of tiles, ceramics, wood accents, and carefully selected decor, everything feels elegant, modern, and intentional. You can tell that a talented designer was involved in every detail. The spa was another highlight of my stay. I travel frequently and visit many spas, but the massage I received here was one of the best I have ever experienced. The aromatherapy, the relaxing atmosphere, and the professionalism of the therapists made it a truly memorable experience. What made the biggest difference, however, was the staff. Everyone was incredibly kind and attentive. I was traveling alone and was pleasantly surprised with a complimentary room upgrade. On my departure day, when I was worried about missing my ferry, the team kindly arranged transportation and personally helped me get to the port on time. That level of care is something you rarely find. As a solo female traveler, I felt completely safe, comfortable, and genuinely looked after throughout my stay. Sirene Blue is one of those rare hotels that combines beautiful surroundings, excellent design, outstanding service, and genuine hospitality. I left with wonderful memories and would happily return.
